AiFeedOptimiser docs

Everything you need to connect Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop or a CSV upload, submit feeds, and customise field mappings.

Getting started

AiFeedOptimiser reads your products from one of six sources: Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop or a CSV upload. In the dashboard, click Add store and pick the platform to see the exact fields required.

Shopify

  1. In Shopify admin, open Settings then Apps and sales channels and install the free official Headless sales channel from the Shopify App Store.
  2. Open Sales channels then Headless and click Create storefront.
  3. In the Manage API access card, on the Storefront API row, click Manage.
  4. Tick the scopes unauthenticated_read_product_listings, unauthenticated_read_product_inventory and unauthenticated_read_product_tags, then save.
  5. Copy the private access token shown on that screen.
  6. In AiFeedOptimiser, paste the token together with your .myshopify.com domain (not your custom domain).

WooCommerce

  1. In WordPress Admin, open WooCommerce then Settings then Advanced then REST API.
  2. Click Add key, set permissions to Read and generate the credentials.
  3. In AiFeedOptimiser, paste your store URL, consumer key and consumer secret.

BigCommerce

  1. In the BigCommerce control panel, open Settings then API accounts.
  2. Create a new Store API account with Products: read-only scope.
  3. In AiFeedOptimiser, paste your store hash and access token.

Magento

  1. In the Magento admin, open System then Integrations.
  2. Add a new integration with Catalog read access and activate it to obtain an access token.
  3. In AiFeedOptimiser, paste your Magento base URL and access token.

PrestaShop

  1. In the PrestaShop admin, open Advanced Parameters then Webservice.
  2. Enable the webservice, click Add new webservice key and grant View access on products, categories, images and manufacturers.
  3. In AiFeedOptimiser, paste your store base URL and the generated Webservice API key.

CSV upload

  1. Export a CSV of your products with headers such as id, title, price, image, link, availability.
  2. Upload it in AiFeedOptimiser - columns are auto-detected and mapped to the closest feed field.

Submitting your feed to Google

Once your store is connected, AiFeedOptimiser gives you a public XML URL for each channel. To submit to Google:

  1. Open your store page in AiFeedOptimiser and copy the Google Merchant feed URL.
  2. Go to Google Merchant Center and sign in.
  3. Under Products, choose Feeds then Add primary feed.
  4. Pick country and language, then select Scheduled fetch and paste your AiFeedOptimiser URL.
  5. Set the fetch frequency to every 12 or 24 hours. AiFeedOptimiser refreshes underlying data every 6 hours.

Submitting your feed to Meta

Copy the Meta Catalog feed URL from your store page, then:

  1. Open Commerce Manager and select your catalogue (create one if you have none).
  2. In the left menu, click Data sources.
  3. Click Add items (or Add data source on an existing catalogue).
  4. Choose Data feed as the method, not "Manually add items" or "Partner platform".
  5. Select Set a schedule instead of a one-time upload.
  6. Paste the AiFeedOptimiser Meta URL into Feed URL. No username or password is needed.
  7. Set Upload frequency to daily (or hourly for fast-moving stock), name the feed and click Upload.

You can edit the schedule later under Data sources then your feed name then Settings.

Submitting your feed to Bing

Copy the Bing Merchant feed URL from your store page, then:

  1. Sign in to Microsoft Advertising and open Tools then Merchant Center.
  2. Click Manage stores and select your store, or create one if you do not have it yet.
  3. Open the store and select the Feeds tab.
  4. Click Create feed.
  5. For Input method, choose Automatically download file from URL.
  6. Paste the AiFeedOptimiser Bing URL into Source URL and leave the username and password blank.
  7. Under Download schedule, set the frequency to daily and pick a time.
  8. Click Create feed. Microsoft then pulls the file on that schedule.

Submitting your feed to TikTok

The TikTok Catalog feed powers TikTok Shopping ads, Video Shopping Ads and catalogue-based retargeting. Copy the TikTok Catalog feed URL from your store page, then:

  1. Sign in to TikTok Ads Manager and open Assets then Catalogue.
  2. Click Create catalogue, set the country and currency to United Kingdom and GBP, then open it.
  3. Select the Products tab and click Add products.
  4. Choose Scheduled feed as the upload method.
  5. Paste the AiFeedOptimiser TikTok URL into Data feed URL and leave the username and password blank.
  6. Set Update schedule to daily (hourly for fast-moving stock) and give the feed a name.
  7. Click Upload. TikTok validates the file and then fetches it on that schedule.

TikTok requires google_product_category on every item, so map it in the TikTok feed editor before you submit. If you sell on TikTok Shop as a marketplace seller, note that Shop listings are managed in Seller Center - this feed is for the TikTok Catalogue used by ads.
